We replaced our old router/modem with a Surfboard G36.  My Ambient weather council worked well with our old modem (2.4 and 5 GHZ) but will not connect via wifi to the G36 Surfboard. I have worked with ambient weather to try to get it to connect without success.  I replaced the council and this does not correct the issue.  The council only works on 2.4 GHz so I tried disconnecting 5 GHz on web manager before attempting to connect without success.  Is there any action I can take to make this council connect to the modem.

Most IoT devices connect using the 2.4 GHz network, and they typically work best when the 2.4 GHz encryption method is set to medium.

Please refer to the link below for instructions on how to change the encryption method for the 2.4 GHz network:

Once the encryption method has been updated, check whether the printer is able to connect to the 2.4 GHz network.
