G36 unable to reach most sites on ethernet, wifi works fine

Just bought a G36 on eBay. It came with someone else's settings so I factory reset it. I was able to get WiFi to work just fine but the Ethernet doesn't work quite right. I am able to access YouTube and Google over Ethernet but almost nothing else.

have you tried changing the DNS settings? 

Current setup: Netgear CM3000-->Netgear RBE973S-->2.5gig tp-link switch, Xfinity 2.4gig/350mbps
