Is there something I’m doing/have done wrong so that my “parental controls” are slower than a frozen slug?

My phone (Samsung Galaxy S25) is connected to the 5GHz network, I’m 3 feet away from it, and when I go into the parental control section it takes a literal minute and a half to go from one screen to the next - ie, from the list of profiles to get into my son’s list of devices, it just now took me 103 seconds. And even then, things I do sometimes, but not always, save - and other times it just disappears into the ether. I want to do it on my desktop, but I can’t because parental controls can’t be done from a desktop.

I have tried “turn it off, turn it back on,” re-synching the phone to the router, etc.

ANY help greatly appreciated.

Please ensure that you are connected to the primary network of the gateway and not the guest network. After verifying this, make sure your mobile phone’s software is up to date.

You can also manage parental controls from a desktop by logging into the web interface.

Any profiles you create in the Surfboard Central app will not appear in the web interface.
