having trouble hooking printer to network on G34

I have an HP 140 laser jet wireless printer that I am having trouble connecting to my Arris G34 router network. Can someone help me thru it

To connect your HP LaserJet M140 printer to a Wi-Fi network using the printer's control panel, you can try the following steps:

  1. Place the printer close to your Wi-Fi router.
  2. Open the Setup, Network, or Wireless settings menu.
  3. Select Wireless Setup Wizard.
  4. Select your network name and enter the password.
  5. If the Wireless Setup Wizard isn't listed, you can try selecting Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) or Push Button and following the steps to connect

If you are using the WPS option you need to enable WPS on the Arris modem to connect the printer to the Arris modem
