We recently bought a g34 , set it up and it all works great but when we try to add an outdoor wifi outlet the app sees it but it times out. We have successfully added this outlet to another router and it works great we have concluded after trying every which way and getting the same result it may be the router settings-any help is appreciated. The plug is made by Tessan and has 3 outlets so you can plug something in and turn it on and off remotely thru wifi.

Thanks for responding,when trying automatic detection it sees the plug but times out after 2 minutes,if we try manual our plug type isn’t on the list but we choose as close as we can same thing it times out after 2 minutes. it is on 2.4 and no special characters or spaces.
+41What error do you get when you’re setting it up?
Is the device you’re using to setup the plug connected to 2.4ghz during setup (thats key).
Any special characters/spaces in the ssid/password? Some IoT devices struggle with them.
