I am facing ddos attacks and i need a new public ip address, but i cannot figure out how to clone or change the mac address on the arris g34 modem so i can force a ip change.

Not to worry changing IP will definitely protect your device so changing default IPV4 can be done on the modem interface by following the steps mentioned on the below article or you can also contact your internet service provider to change the IP of your modem. If you are looking to change the HFC MAC address that is not possible since there is no such option available on the modem interface.
