I have a SurfBoard AX3000 G36 connected to Cox cable. WiFi is good but only 1mpbs down and 5mbps up. I have had Cox activate and they can see nothing wrong with the cable connection but they are unable to communicate with the AX 3000. Showing solid blue LED after flashing blue and flashing green. But now solid blue and still no speed. Previous modem on the same connection was giving me more than 50mpbs symetrical.

In this case could you please help us with your current speed plan and who is Internet service provider to check the compatibility.
If the slow speed issue is happening only on WIFI we can try changing the WIFI channel and monitor connection for 24hrs. Also few more information needed,
How many devices you have connected to WIFI network and what speed you are getting on the devices connected to 2.4 and 5G respectively.
