I’m trying to get out of a similar situation. I keep getting the wps disabled screen even though I’ve changed all the security. I don’t want to reset to factory because I’m afraid I’ll lose my xfinity connection. I really need to connect my canon ts 3522 printer to my new G34.

In this case you can setup WPS on the modem GUI by following the steps mentioned on the below article

Resetting modem will not affect the Xfinity connection modem will be online. So after setting up the WPS connect printer to the 2.4 Wi-Fi network.
