MOCA filter fixed gateway reboots

My G34 gateway was rebooting a few times per week.  Arris replaced the G34 and the problem persisted.  I was also getting pixelation on my TV screen.

Comcast detected a problem with my line and sent out a tech.  The tech also saw some unusual errors on my line.  The tech installed a MOCA filter on the coax line coming into my house.  Since the filter was installed my Gateway has been stable for over 3 weeks and the TV picture is better.

If you are having problems with your Arris gateway rebooting randomly then I suggest you get a MOCA filter installed.

Before that, just check the line signal and the event logs. They’ll tell you a lot and would probably have been indicative of the issue (not all phone techs are great)
