I am trying to go in and change the my network name through the Surfboard Central app. Even though I have internet/wi-fi the app won’t let me change the network name. It says “Access to your Network is currently unavailable”. It then advises to do the onboarding to reonboard the gateway. The other option is try at a later time, connect to SURFBOARD network as the remote access is currently unavailable or power off and then on. I have tried the first and third option. What should I do?

 

I don’t believe the G34 or G36 supports remote management, not even with the SBC app.  You’ll need to connect your phone to the gateway’s Wi-Fi network.
