new setup cant connect via browser

up and running

need to set this thing up. i can only connect via phone app

can not connect via wired web browser. asks for email and password from app

and it doesn’t let me login

i was using password i used in the phone app. it said use the that pw….

on the app, in access web interface. there is another password provided

used it and got in and changed

What device do you have? 

Is this a new purchase? 

Did you setup an account on it for install?

it’s an arris g36  New. 
i set it up using phone app. 

when I go to modem login(10.0.0.1) it asks for email address and password I used with phone app. this doesn’t work
