I have the G36 and my 2.5GB will not even come close to 2GB with Ethernet. I have all Cat6a cabling and switch that can handle up to 2.5GB also. When I am plugged in with my Ethernet and do a speed test I only get 359Mpbs. How can I fix this as I do not want to change out my modem again.

In this case we can try checking the device ethernet adaptor speed to make sure that support the speed plan that you are in with your service provider to get the expected speed. Could you please help us with few more details, what are the devices you are connecting to modem 2.5G port to test the speed? Is the devices are compatible with the speed?
