SURFBoard app does not connect to wi-fi after factory reset. It knows what the router and password is and my phone app shows I’m connected. Regardless it says the connection ws not made. It was scanned and I was right next to the router. I’ve tried this a dozen times over the last week and it has never worked.

Since you performed reset on the modem there might be some settings not configured to default that is where the Wi-Fi got stuck and the surfboard central app is not allowing to access so in this case we would suggest you to perform a proper reset once again by following the steps mentioned on the link below and make sure the modem is configured to default then uninstall and reinstall app then setup again, if still you face same error please reach out to arris.com/consumersupport for further assistance.
