I’m trying to setup a Netgear wifi range extender to use with my Arris G34 moden/router and I can’t get the Netgear to recognize the router. I had an older Arris before and had no problem setting up the extender.  I called netgear and they said I’d have to log into my router account for them to continue to troubleshoot. Every time I tried to do that I got a message that it was not a secure website and I was not able to go any further. What should I try now?

You can get pass that “not a secure website” message.  Here’s a FAQ that tells you how to do it by browser.  https://arris.my.salesforce-sites.com/consumers/articles/General_FAQs/Alert-Message-for-Web-Manager-Access

You might need to change the Wi-Fi security mode on the G34 for Netgear extender to connect.  Here’s how to change it.  https://arris.my.salesforce-sites.com/consumers/articles/General_FAQs/G34-G36-Unable-to-Connect-to-the-Wi-Fi-Network

I got through to Arris customer service and they walked me through the process. All is good now. Thanks anyway.
