I’m trying to add a Smart Life app gateway to my 2.4 network. It fails each time. The directions ask that I ensure MAC filtering is turned off. How do I turn MAC filtering off? When I sign in and navigate to it, my choices Allow, Deny & Allow All. None seem to work.

Turn MAC filtering off on the modem GUI is nothing but making the MAC filtering option to Deny and save setting. To make your Smart Life app gateway connect to the 2.4 network you need to change the security mode option the GUI then connect to the network.

After logging to the interface select Gateway > Connection > Wi-Fi > Edit 2.4 GHz > select security mode drop down arrow > WPAWPA2-PSK (TKIP/AES) then save settings.
