We purchased a kiln with a smart controller. We haven’t been able to connect the controller to our wifi, so we emailed the controller tech support team. They advised us the controller cannot connect to WPA3, it can only connect to WPA2. I was able to change the security type to WPA2 on the web interface, but the Surfboard app on my phone still shows it’s connected with WPA2/WPA3 Mixed. I still cannot get the controller to connect. I tried changing the security on the app, but nothing happens. Which is accurate, the web interface or the app? If the app is accurate, how can I get this fixed?

In this case the setup which is showing on the modem is the accurate one and since you see different security type on the SBC app you can just uninstall the app and restart your modem for a minute then again check the security type on the modem interface to make sure whether it is in WPA2 or not and then try setting up your device to the modem 2.4 network.
