I’m unable to get past the device registration “page” in the SURFboard Central app on an android phone.
I receive a 0000-1612 error about a Wi-Fi communication failure.
The device has already been activated with Mediacom as the service provider. I’ve already contacted Mediacom’s customer service -- and everything is okay on their end. (Signal and everything.)
I’ve unplugged all the cords from the device.
I’ve reset the device.
I’ve uninstalled the SURFboard Central Manager app from my phone, cleared the data and cache, and reinstalled the app.
I’ve reviewed instructions through ARRIS’ Customer Care site for the G36 gateway.
Nothing is helpful in solving the problem of being unable to register the G36 modem/router gateway through the SURFboard Central app.
