Does the G34 supports the “Next Gen Tier” upload on Xfinity/Comcast? I am thinking of upgrading my plan to a gigabit to take advantage of the higher upload. Thanks in advance.

G34 supports the Xfinity’s “Next Gen Tier” fast upload but not he gigabit plan. You would need G36 or G54.
