Yesterday morning, I found my devices logged out of my G36 gateway and my Amazon Echo informed me that the password had been changed.
I unplugged the gateway and went to work; it remains unplugged.
I don’t know what to do next. Was I hacked? Is it safe to plug the router back in?

Might have just factory reset itself. Are you able to log back into it?
You can always reset it and reinstall it
