Does the ARRIS Surfboard G36 able to fight against all kinds of Internet attacks which include malware attacks, phishing attacks, password attacks, man-in-the-middle attacks, sql injection attacks, denial-of-service attacks, insider threats, cryptojacking, zero-day exploits, and watering hole attacks?

 

Can it prevent router hackers from stealing information about the ARRIS Surfboard G36 when they use third party apps to look up this device information so they can break into the WiFi network provided by the ARRIS Surfboard G36 device? G36 has security upgrades to secure itself and network from hacking.  As you know that any device can be hacked by hackers.  If you have a laptop that is hacked from connecting to other network, security protection on your other devices is needed to protect against attack from that laptop when it connects back to the network. Make sure the software version and security patches are updated on all your devices. The G36 is protected against the attacks. 

 

The G36 is compatible on major US cable providers like Xfinity, Spectrum, and Cox. The G36 has DOCSIS 3.1 modem and compatible with Gigabit service.  Other cable providers may allow G36 on their network. Please check with your cable provider to confirm.
