Wifi issues after activating a G36

Added new G36 to Xfinity account and it’s been activated with WiFi connection verified. But devices that require a password to use the WiFi still do not connect. How do I reset my password from the default?

Could you please clarify whether the Wi-Fi is showing as 'connected without internet' or if it's not connecting at all. For example, displaying messages like 'incorrect password,' 'unable to connect,' or 'can’t connect'?

If it shows as 'connected without internet,' we’ll need to verify whether the gateway has been properly activated by your internet service provider.
