Your router won’t know any of the old networks if its new.

What are you actually seeing/doing/experiencing? we aren’t there so they better you explain it, the better we can help

My router isn't new, it's about 2 years old. I just recently setup a mesh network in my home and had to create a whole new network. So I want to delete/get rid of my old network.

So what router do you have?

What did you add?

Are you just wanting to turn your current one into a modem only device so you’re not in a double nat.

Based on your product category G34/G36, which is a modem‑router combination, and according to your description, once a mesh network is added to the gateway, it is recommended to place the G34/G36 into Bridge Mode.

Enabling Bridge Mode will disable all router functionality on the gateway. As a result:

  • The Wi‑Fi network names (SSIDs) broadcast by the G34/G36 will no longer appear.
  • Routing features such as NAT, DHCP, and firewall functions will be disabled.
  • Only one Ethernet port will remain active, which should be used to connect the mesh system.

This configuration ensures that the mesh network fully manages routing and Wi‑Fi, preventing network conflicts and providing optimal performance.
