wifi usage

How do you check the amount of wifi used monthly through the modem? I don’t want to check through the my provider. Also, is it possible to disconnect or pause devices on WiFi through the app or is an update coming for that?

You posted in the cable modem side. 

What device do you actual have?  A modem alone won’t have that info. 

Current setup: Netgear CM3000-->Netgear RBE973S-->2.5gig tp-link switch, Xfinity 2.4gig/350mbps

Maybe @SURFboard_Moderator would know. I don’t have that g36/34 models. Used to have a SBG8300 but no longer.
