I am hoping the community can help answer the challenge I am having with the Xfinity Stream app and my G34. I have worked with Xfinity to set up my G34, and my internet is working. However, the Xfinity stream app is not working. Here’s the situation.
- G34 is set up with Xfinity, and the device is showing a solid blue light
- G34 is providing internet, both Wifi for the home and Ethernet - hard line connection to my TV (Samsung 55” QN90C)
- Xfinity stream app is loaded on my TV and can be launched
- I can watch saved programs within the Xfinity app
- However, when I try to play live TV it fails and I get a TVAPP-00101 error
- Please note my iPad, and cellphone with the Xfinity app work with no issues
- Additionally, the Xfinity app on my TV was working with the prior device, Motorola MG7550
- I have spent hours with Xfinity and they’ve ‘re-provisioned’ my device, uninstalled/reinstalled the app, and have the latest FW on the TV and G34, but it still doesn't work.
Does anyone in the community have suggestions on how to address this issue? Thank you.
