I recently purchased a G54 modem/router and have been connecting my devices.  However, my Samsung TV about three years old will not connect to the WIFI.  All my other devices seem to connect easily.

All your third party devices should be connected to 2.4 if you are unable to see the Wi-Fi name on your device please try enabling Split mode and try changing the security mode on the modem GUI then check for the 2.4 network. Login to your modem GUI

Launch a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari.  Enter http://192.168.0.1 into the address box, and press the Enter key.

On the Login page, enter the custom password in the Password field.  The Username field is populated with admin.

Click the Login button.  The Gateway > Summary page will appear.

Gateway > Summary > enable Split mode

Gateway > Connection > Wi-Fi > Edit> security mode> click on the drop down arrow > select WPAWPA2-PSK (TKIP/AES) and then save settings.

This will allow you in accessing Wi-Fi on your TV
