G54 Surfboard Central app not showing connected devices

Recently purchased and successfully installed G54 modem/router via Xfinity. No issues and I was able to connect phones and laptop via wifi. But in the app I only see the one device as connected. Also in the web interface the device list is always showing as "loading". I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but did not resolve the issue. Please help.

Only the wifi-connected devices are shown under connected devices; if some of your devices are offline, that will be shown separately under the offline tab.

do they show up if you log in through the browser

After resetting the gateway the devices now show up on both browser and app but the list of devices i see are not totally accurate. Some are missing.
