I have the G54 wifi/router and recently purchased the 2 pack of the mesh devices W121.  Spent hours trying to get the W121 to work without success.  Do I need to change a setting in the G54 unit to make this work?  App keeps giving error codes which do not appear to provide answers.

Please help.

You can use them together but they don’t integrate. You set the w121 in bridge mode and connect it.You’ll want it on a separate ssid and using different wireless channels to prevent interference. but it does work. Just not with the G54 as part of the mesh.

They should work but you’ll need to bridge the G54 or W121 so that you are not running two separate networks.  What’s the app error code?  Did you use the app to setup the G54 and W21?

The G54 isn’t a mesh device. It won’t integrate with the w121 system.

So you’d be going:

G54---->W121 mesh.

If you can put the w121 in ap mode or disable dhcp so the g54 is handling it

So I'm confused will the g54 work with the w121 or not? Do I have to run the ethernet cable between the g54 and the first w121? Why don't we include instructions anymore with devices we sell? Should I just call tech support when you guys are open to help out with this installation?
