I only have a mobile phone that is used as a hot spot for my wireless laptop.  My mobile device is my primary means of communication and I lose signal.  Will a mAX extender help me?

The mAX router cannot connect to your cellular service or to other Wi-Fi network.  It needs Ethernet connection from the WAN port to another Ethernet port of the Internet device such as a cable or DSL modem, or a Fiber nod.

I’ve used extenders with hotspots before. So it sure could.

Can we say 100%? no. because some hotspots are a little more finiky than others with how many devices can be connected. But I’d try it.
