Yes, you can change the Wi-Fi name (SSID) and other settings through the SURFboard Central (SBC) app after it has been successfully installed and set up.

Tap the My Network icon on the bottom of the screen.

Tap the Network Management box.

Tap the Main Wi-Fi Network + button to expand the card, then tap the Pencil icon to make edits.

On the Edit Home Network, enter a new Wi-Fi network name in the Network Name (SSID) field.

Enter a new Wi-Fi password in the Password field. (The password must be 8 characters or longer. Use upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols for stronger security.)

Tap the Save Changes button.

On the alert box, tap the OK button.

The network screen will return. Connect the Wi-Fi clients to the new SSID with the new Wi-Fi password.
