Just installed W21 mAX AX6600 (1 router, 2 satellites). I have fiber modem providing internet to main router connected to the WAN port.

Main router is connected to an unmanaged 1gb switch via LAN port that provides wired Ethernet to the two satellites.

I have the Cat5e going into the Lan ports on the satellites. The app is telling me my data link to the satellites is slow (0.40gbps).

Any idea what I need to do to fix this?

To establish a proper backhaul connection, connect the switch to the main router’s LAN port. Then, run two Ethernet cables from the switch to the WAN ports of the satellite unit. This setup helps ensure stable and efficient communication between the main router and the satellite

When backhauling satellites from the main router, ensure that the Ethernet cable is connected to the WAN port of each satellite.
For example:

  • Connect the LAN port of the main router to the WAN port of the first satellite.
  • Then, connect the LAN port of the first satellite to the WAN port of the second satellite.

If I go from the main router LAN to an unmanaged switch that then has 2 separate Cat5e going to each of the satellites from the switch would I plug the Cat5e from the switch to the satellites LAN or WAN?
