how do i secure the onboarding wifi network

when setting up my network, there are instructions to allow the "SURFBoard-Onboarding' wifi network and then to add a second secured network. i would like to secure them both. how do i do this?/

It appears that you have two W21 routers. Could you please confirm the LED light status on both devices?

Also, please note that Surfboard Onboarding is a setup Wi-Fi network that gets broadcast when you're in the process of setting up the W21 routers.

Are you referring to the guest network? What are you actually seeing?

the guest wifi is secure. the  onboarding one does not have any security and no option to add it...
