I just bought the W21 Surfboard units and I’m attempting to set a wired backhaul.
I adopted the Main W21 and got it fully up and operational without issues.
Main W21:
WAN: Xfinity Router
I then did the adoption process for the Satellite unit and got it setup and connected. It established it’s WiFi link to the Main router and devices connected and worked. Speeds were low at about 0.5 GB but wasn’t planning on leaving it wireless anyway.
Adopted to the following:
Main W21:
WAN: Xfinity Router
LAN: Adopted W21 Satellite
Satellite W21:
WAN: to the LAN of the Main W21.
The app shows the Satellite W21 getting an IP from the Main W21 with a LAN IP address but it refuses to make the backhaul and keeps connecting wirelessly.
I’ve factory reset everything and tried all over again to no avail.
Any suggestions?
