Can you tell me the latest firmware numbers for the W21 series? I was gifted 2 of these and I’m trying to update the firmware. Apparently that is usually automatic, but I want to be sure. 

I haven’t found a list anywhere of the actual firmware versions. And with the W21 only having an app based process, there isn’t any way to manually update if there was

The MAX router checks for new firmware:

  1. Between 2am and 5am daily
  2. After power cycle (ex. unplug power and plug back)
  3. During OnBoarding (on the "Check Under the Hood" screen),

When the new firmware is detected, the firmware is updated automatically. The mAX router reboots after the firmware update is completed.

So then, how do you I check the current firmware version?

The firmware version displayed in the SBC app indicates the current firmware version of your router.
