I have an ARRIS Surfboard mAX 6E W161 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6E System. I’d like to add a second satellite to put in the basement to deal with the load of some gaming systems down there. What router will work as a satellite to add into an existing mesh system? (I tried to buy a second pair of W61s but the app didn’t recognize adding either of them into the existing network).

The W161 Max system includes one main router and one satellite, totaling two routers per system. Unfortunately, you cannot add another satellite to the existing system.
The W161 can cover up to 5500 sq ft, depending on factors such as the number of floors and interferences like concrete walls or microwave ovens.
