I am having trouble connecting to wifi with my surfboard sb6141 modem. I have xfinity internet connection. They were able to send signal to modem and also reset it. But I cannot see my name wifi name.

thats because the SB6141 is a modem only device. it has no integrated router with wifi.
You won’t get a wireless signal from a modem only device. You need to connect a router to it.
