Trying to activate my modem to work with Brightspeed internet. Need help.

The ISP needs to activate modems to their service and ensure compatibility. Have you contacted them?
Current setup: Netgear CM3000-->Netgear RBE973S-->2.5gig tp-link switch, Xfinity 2.4gig/350mbps

To activate the modem, make sure to provide the HFC MAC ID to the Internet Service Provider(ISP) and activate the same.
Also, few ISPs have self-activation options to activate the same.

Arris Surfboard cable modems or Wi-Fi cable modems are not compatible with Brightspeed fiber or DSL Internet service.
