So the network is showing up and it works fine on my phone but anytime I try to connect on my computer it says can't connect what should I do?

In this case we can provide you the basic details since the modem model number is not mentioned, Toggle the WIFI network then try connecting computer to 2.4 network and also try restarting your computer to get connected to modem WIFI. If you could help us with modem model number we can assist you further.
