TDS uses arris DG3452 but you can't buy it only lease it from TDS.  What is the comparable Arris modem/router that a consumer can?

Are you certain that’s the correct model number?

Oh it's TG3452.  Only available for leasing through TDS so I'll look into the model you mentioned.  Thank you.

Based on what I am reading, the TG3452 includes telephony. If that is something you need, things get a little more challenging. Most ISPs provide a list of compatible modems. I don’t see anything authoritative at TDS. Some ISPs will not allow 3rd party modems if telephony is required.

I would only get a modem that is DOCSIS 3.1. If you want voice and WiFi in a single unit, I don’t see anything that is available at retail at the moment when I look at XfFinity that gives you everything in one unit.
