Compatible speed for ARRIS TM1602A

Forum|alt.badge.img

I upgraded to 1GB speed with Optimum. Will my current TN1602A be able to support the 1GB speed?

If phone service is no longer required, I would think the SB8200 would be a good choice. Price was down to under $120 at Best Buy recently, but has gone back up. The challenge is, I haven’t yet found a comprehensive list of supported modems on the Optimum site. You may have to call/chat with them to get the correct link to the latest supported devices.

I would say it is doubtful. It is DOCSIS 3.0 and appears to be 16/4. Do you still need the phone access?
