Connection losses about 4-5 times daily-

Hello, 

 

I work from home using ethernet directly into the modem (hard wired) and have been having several intermittent connectivity issues.  System stall, and the modem losses internet connection.

My work tech support says it's my provider. My internet provider says it's my modem.  What is the life of a modem? I think mine is about 4 years old.   And, what are the signs /symptoms that indicate my modem is going bad?

To work on this case further may i know what modem you are using and modem model number and for every arris new modem will be having 2years of warranty period.
