How to access the GUI web portal

Forum|alt.badge.img

I'm not sure how to ask this question - hopefully someone will understand. One time I was speaking to tech support and I think they had me type my IP address into my web browser search bar and it took me to an Arris page where I could make changes for my modem/router. Now I can't do that or I can't remember how they had me do it. How do I access that page (account page?) again?

Could you help us with the model number to assist you on this?

Generally, for a cable modem, you can login through 192.168.100.1 and for Wi-Fi cable modem or gateway, you can login through 192.168.0.1

That’s the default “local” address of your modem/router. This will work even if you’re not connected to the internet, from any device on that local network (plugged in or on WiFi).

Hope this makes sense.

For an Arris unit, I would try 192.168.100.1
