Struck by lighting they replaced outside cable and power plug to splitter my Wi-Fi works but ethernet does not I have a Surfboard model SVG2482AC

Did you try factory resetting? Pushing and holding reset until the lights change while powered on?

    Current setup: Netgear CM3000-->Netgear RBE973S-->2.5gig tp-link switch, Xfinity 2.4gig/350mbps
