Very strange.

Can NOT log laptops, ipad or either phone into internet. connects to router but will not get an internet connection. TVs are running fine on Roku connected to router/modem.
All my ring cameras are running fine connected to router/modem.

All connected devices show in router admin Client List but no internet on phones iPad or laptops the rest work fine

Laptop via Ethernet cable to modem no internet....

Logged my phone into other Wi-Fi at different locations with no issues.

SURFboard SB6141 modem ipv6 only

SB6141is just a cable modem and you have mentioned that their is no internet on direct connection so yo check on this further could you please help me with the LED light status on the modem. Do you see lights flashing on the modem ethernet port?

I bought a new SURFboard SB6190 and installed, same issue although laptops via landline to modem operational.

i am still unable to connect any device wirelessly other than ring cameras, firestick, roku.

opened a chat session with ASUS regarding the router and we were unable to resolve…..replace the router or reset to factory install settings and rebuild the routher?

reset the Asus RT-N66U router and rebuilt configurations, userid/pswds, etc, etc

all worked fine, reinstalled the old SURFboard SB6141 modem and returned the new SURFboard SB6190 modem.

all is fine…….utility company installing fiber optic throughout my neigborhood so no doubt will update my router when that is available hopefully sometime in the future.
