printer disconnecting from SBG6700ac

My sbg6700ac modem router has always disconnected from various brands of printers,c printer is only 3 ft away ..

For this issue we would suggest you to try connecting printer to the 2.4 network and also change the security mode on your wifi settings to most compatible one which is                      WPA/WPA2-PSK(TKIP/AES) and save setting. please follow the steps mentioned below to make the changes and try with the connection.

Launch a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari.  Enter http://192.168.0.1 into the address box.  The Login page will appear.  

  1. On the Login page, enter admin in the User Name field.
     
  2. Enter password in the Password field then click the Apply button. 
  3. select wireless 2.4 on the above mentioned option
  4. security mode> click on the drop down arrow
  5. select WPA/WPA2-PSK(TKIP/AES)
  6. select apply
