i have an sb6141. i just hooked it up a few days ago. it was working off and on, and a quick unplug re plug seemed to fix it while i tried to figure out its errors. xfinity can see it, but it wont connect to internet or reset. they say to contact arris. the phone app is useless pretty much cause it wont hook to the data for it so i can figure out the error. this is new so i am very unhappy.  Any suggestions

If you just bought it, I’d return it. The SB6141 is the most base model docsis 3.0 modem you can get. Its performance is anemic. If its not new, then we’d need more details. 

when you say a plug-replug fix the issue for a bit, it makes me suspicious of the line. Get a screensnip of the cable connections page and event logs and post them here and we can check the line. Xfinity’s first response is always “its not the line”
