Have to admit my Arris TM 1602 is now several years old. I have only one active phone number assigned to Tel 1 Jack, I started picking up static problem, and from debugging, it appears to be the Tel 1 Jack (could be more, but can not tell. The Internet has no issue) I would like to move the active phone number from Tel 1 jack to the Tel 2 jack to see if that fixes the problem… How can I do that?

Hi ajpalum,
It appears that the modem is capable of providing internet access, and you wish to change the active phone number from Tel1 Jack to Tel 2 Jack.
To do so, please contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider) or Telephone Manufacturer.
