I've had the same modem for 4 years, never had an issue, yesterday my xfinity streaming device froze so we turned everything off. Now I can't get anything to connect to our network. When I search for available networks it shows up and all lights on the modem are blue, but nothing will connect to it, on my phone and computer it asks me to sign in and when I click that it takes me to a link for xfinity that says I need to activate my internet. Talked to 3 different people who all have different answers and that everything looks good to them so a tech will come out in 2 days. Anyone else ever have this issue? Do I need a new modem?

In this case we would suggest you to check for the modem LED lights and try performing the basic troubleshooting to isolate the issue like restarting and resetting modem for 15-30 secs. If still you are unable to go online you need to try checking the IPV4 address of the modem and could you please help us with your modem model number to check on this in detail.
