Hello, I just bought the surfboard Wi-Fi extension and am trying to connect the router to my current Wi-Fi. Is there anything I’m supposed to do after plugging it in? I cannot find directions.

For the confirmation you are using Arris WIFI extender and may i know the model number to assist you further.
You can setup extender using wps option or else just by connecting using the modem WIFI network. It depends on the modem model which you use.
