I have about a 5 year old SB6190. Downstream light is bright blue, but my upstream light is either white or out. I contacted my provider and everything shows fine on their end….download of 500 MBPS and upload of 25 MBPS. Is it possible my upload LED has burnt out. I rebooted it and the green LED is flashing as it powers back up, but the download light goes to Blue and the Upload light appears white when it is back on line. Is my modem going?

If its still working, don’t worry about it. It’ll be out of warranty but if its still working, great. If it stops, you know you had a little warning.

It is very normal behavior until you are experiencing with slow/intermittent internet connection.
