One year later, can you provide an update on this?  @SURFboard Moderator  @SURFboard Moderator @SURFboard Support

“Once that firmware was pushed to the unit I was no longer able to access any management functions and the exact same issue as the prior unit surfaced. This to me points directly to a Firmware configuration issue. Arris support has brought in their Tier 3 support team to review the case and it sounds like they are working through the issue and I should hear back after the holidays”

“I am having this exact issue with the same modem and ISP. I was able to get to the admin login page after factory reset and without connecting to coax. After connecting to coax, I got blocked with 403 Forbidden. I contacted Sparklight support and all they did was pushing out a new firmware, which did not help at all. ”

In most cases, you can access the modem's Status page by browsing to 192.168.100.1 from a device connected to the Wi-Fi router or the cable modem connected directly to a computer using an ethernet cable.

If you can't reach the modem's login screen, try manually assigning IP addresses on the device (Wi-Fi router or PC) directly connected to the modem.

Please refer to the link below for steps to access the cable modem's interface with the coaxial cable connected.

When I try to access the Web Manager at the device's IP number:I receive a message. This started over a year ago.The reason might be within your control — but it's more likely caused by something on the content owner or server side. The 403 error signifies that the server understands the request but refuses to authorize it, which can be due Spacebar clicker to various reasons, including IP address restrictions, but also incorrect permissions, security settings, or other access limitations  Unlike an IP ban, poisoned users are allowed to enter the Roblox website and log into an account that is not linked to the email of the deleted player.

I did, and when I go to 192.168.100.1 it still shows 403 Forbidden

Do you have any VPN turned on the computer that is directly connected to the cable modem?

If not, try using the same configurations on a different computer with a wired connection.

If the issue still persists, please reach out to our support channel by visiting www.arris.com/consumersupport.
